Service to our nation is expensive. The high cost of separation from family and friends. The high cost of losing one’s health. The cost of losing one’s sight, hearing, loss of a limb. The cost of living with PTSD. The cost of youth lost.
And the cost of one’s life.
We as a nation, are grateful for the valiant men and women who raised their right hand, taking the oath to defend our freedom and the American way of life.
As these heroes come home from foreign fields of battle, they need the support and care of a grateful nation..
The Stones River VFW Post 12206 and Auxiliary 12206 offer many services to our community.
We participate in numerous programs sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Department of Tennessee and the Ladies Auxiliaries.
